| Must have
a primary diagnosis of substance abuse |
| Must be
able to care for basic hygiene and dietary
needs |
| Must be at
least 18 years of age |
| Must not
be in need of detoxification |
| Must be
mentally stable |
| No
potential of violence |
| Must be
able to function in a community environment |

Dual Diagnosis Program: |
| Must
have a primary mental illness diagnosis |
| Must
be psychiatrically stabilized |
| Must
have a case manager and linkage with a mental
health facility |

| Halfway
House Program: |
| Must
have completed at least 14-28 days of inpatient
treatment |
| Must
be capable of obtaining/maintaining employment |

| Exclusionary
Clause: |
| No
person who has been convicted of the following will be eligible for admission |
| Arson |
| Registered
sex offenders (other sex offenders will be
screened on a case by case basis) |
| Extensive
history of violence which can include but not
limited to felonious assault, attempted murder,
murder, domestic violence, etc. |

| Discharge
Criteria: |
| Being
under the influence of alcohol/drugs |
| Testing
positive for alcohol/drugs after admission |
| Possessing/storage
of contraband (as defined by facility) |
| Violence,
verbal threats or physical acts of
violence |
| Persistent
and repetitive rule violations |
| Failure
to actively participate in the program as
directed |
| Participating
in sexual acts/behavior of any kind |
| Fraternizing,
horseplay, misuse of prescribed or
over-the-counter medication |
| Malicious
destruction of property |
| Absent
without authorization (residential
programs only) |
