SERVICES

Nova
House Association
employs over 70 professional staff to serve its clients.
All clinicians have met the qualifications required
by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction
Services.
In addition, many hold licenses in Social Work and
Counseling.
Nova House employs the services of a psychologist,
a nurse practitioner and physician that provides
psychiatric services as necessary.

Outpatient
|
|
Standard
outpatient treatment length is 8 weeks or less
dependent upon client need, motivation and progress
and usually consist of one or two individual and/or
one to three group sessions per week, including
urinalysis screenings. Emphasis is placed on
empowering the client to take responsibility for
his/her own recovery.

Intensive
Outpatient
|
|
A
highly structured, individualized, non-residential
program with an intensive track for individuals that
usually, through testing or self-disclosure, is
aware that their disease is affecting their
life-style.

|
Dual
Diagnosis
|
|
A
three month residential program that deals with
residents who suffer with chemical dependency and
mental health issues.
|
|
Long
Term Residential
|
|
This
is a three month residential program designed to
help residents cope with emotional, social and life
problems without resorting to the use of chemical
intoxicants.
|
|
Halfway
House
|
|
A
three month residential program that emphasizes
productive work.
Residents in this program have completed
primary treatment prior to admission
|
|
Women's
Treatment
|
|
A
three month residential program that provides a
secure and healthy environment for pregnant and
post-partum women seeking freedom from their
chemical addictions.
Women are permitted to bring their children
(up to age 5) into treatment with them.

Dual Diagnosis Program: |
Must
have a primary mental illness diagnosis |
Must
be psychiatrically stabilized |
Must
have a case manager and linkage with a mental
health facility |

| Halfway
House Program |
Must
have completed at least 12-28 days of inpatient
treatment |
Must
be capable of obtaining/maintaining employment |
|
| Exclusionary
Clause |
No
person who has been convicted of the followjng
will be eligible for admission |
Arson |
Registered
sex offenders (other sex offenders will be
screened on a case by case basis) |
Extensive
history of violence which can include but not
limited to felonious assault, attempted murder,
murder, domestic violence, etc. |
