NETworks offers a variety of correspondence training courses which are approved
for counselor continuing education units (CEU’s) throughout most of
the United States, Canada and branches of the Armed Forces. NETworks also offers training seminars for those individuals that
prefer a classroom setting.
The NETworks unit provides chemical dependency evaluations to court systems
and other agencies. As with
all Nova House programs, this component is staffed by degreed and
certified professionals and share the services of the agency Physician
and Psychologist with the other modalities.
NETworks accepts cash, money orders, checks and Visa, Mastercard and Discover. Below is our schedule of Workshops and/or order correspondence courses.
We began offering home-study courses in 1992, and have served thousands
of counselors and trained internationally. You will find the courses are a convenient and cost-effective way
of obtaining the training you need. We think you will find our courses interesting and helpful.
The courses basically consist of a text and a workbook. Students read the text and then complete related exercises in the
workbook. We use a pre-test and post-test to measure how effectively we
communicate information. You need not attain a certain score on the post-test to receive
credit for the course.
The NETworks division of Nova House is an authorized provider of
training. You may repeat courses in subsequent years and receive full
credit.
